Downtown Highlands celebrates local shopping with festive fun, treats, and performances throughout the day:

• 11:30am: Storytime at Hudson Library

• 12–2pm: Southern Highland Band perform

• 1:30–2:30pm: Face painting at The Bascom

As evening falls, the community gathers at Founders Park for carols, treats, and a reading of ’Twas the Night Before Christmas, by Mayor Pat, culminating with Santa’s firetruck arrival and Highlands’ sparkling holiday lighting.

Overview: A warm, hands-on afternoon that celebrates the flavors and craftsmanship of fall mixology. Guests will explore seasonal syrups, learn to craft an unforgettable mulled wine, and master a dramatic signature cocktail that turns any gathering into an experience.

Part I – Fall Flavored Syrups: The Foundation of Flavor All about Infusion & Balance

Guests learn to craft versatile fall syrups to elevate home cocktails — tasting, smelling, and customizing as they go.

Part II – Entertaining Like a Pro: The Mulled Wine Ritual

All about Hospitality & Creating Atmosphere , Hosting with warmth and intention — the secret to serving drinks that feel like a memory.

Part III – The Dramatic Pour: Smoked & Styled Cocktails

“The Ember & Oak” — create a sensory masterpiece perfect for dinner parties or the holidays.

Join us Thursday, November 13th at The Stubborn Bull for our FINAL Live Music Monday of the season… and this one’s for a cause.

We’re proud to partner with Blade & Bow Bourbon, to bring our Live Music Season to a close with a Food Drive supporting our local pantry, featuring a special Crafted Whiskey Cocktail Menu where proceeds go directly to helping local families.

In between a Live Musical Performance by upstate Singer songwriter L C Branch , DJ Bill will be taking your song requests ‘for a cause’ all night long.

Be ready to enter raffles, enjoy speciality cocktails and request songs all for our Highlands Emergency Council.
